Arriba arriba, Andalay! Andalay! It's off to South of the Border!
It's meant to be when your first full tank of gas gets you EXACTLY to South of the Border.
As kids, my brother and I loved reading the signs as South of the Border grew closer and closer. To this day if SOTB is on the route, I make the choice to stop there - something my wife loathes. This time, though, with 13 miles left in the tank and 11 miles until America's Favorite Highway Oasis, it was not I who chose Pedro, but Pedro who chose me. Fue el destino!
My apologies to SOTB for not adorning the Waggin' with a sticker. Next time - I promise.

I just bought an e46 wagon! It's awesome and despite being from Charlotte and thus within a single tank of south of the border, I haven't been. Probably ought to though, NC premium fuels are expensive.
